Laptops

It’s not every day you see such a small computer with two screens. But Toshiba W100 is not your everyday notebook. Toshiba has just unveiled their bid for a small and clever computer, the W100. Having two screens on a PC is not a new phenomenon, but we have not seen it pulled off this neatly before. The concept laptop is reminiscent of Nintendo’s popular portable game console, but the difference is that this is a thoroughbred computer.

Both displays on the Libretto W100 are seven inches with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and the bottom touch screen can be used as keyboard. It is even possible to control it with one hand. The machine runs Windows 7 and is equipped with two batteries, although they still only allow the W100 to run for two to four hours depending on what you do with it.

To get your hands on one of these babies you should be ready to pay 124,800 yen plus shipping, as it’s only available in Japan so far. That gets you a computer with a 1.2 GHz Intel Pentium U5400 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD.
