Apple is apparently on the way to releasing a new iPad version. IDG News reports that it will be one with a smaller screen at only 7 inche . Otherwise there is not much information to go by out there in the current situation, only that the plants have begun to assemble the parts.
However, nothing has been made official yet. As to why consumers would want a 7 inch screen is also a mystery. It is too large for the pocket and to small for efficient laptop-scale web browsing. Unless there are some revolutionary new features in the iPad “Mini”, the 10-inch iPad will probably remain the first choice.
