Today a new mobile phone was released by the Finnish phone giant that goes by the name Nokia X3 Touch and Type. It is a relatively small and sleek mobile phone that combines a touch screen with a 12 button keypad. This is hardly a groundbreakingfeature, but it is the first mobile phone from Nokia that combines touch screen and keypad in the same device.

Nokia X3 is despite the combination of the different input options one of Nokia’s slimmest mobile phones at 9.6mm in depth, 106mm height, 48mm width and weighing 78g. Its outermost shell consists of aluminum and available in five different colors.

Among the specifications is most of of the features we expect from a modern mobile phone such as 3G, HSPA, WiFi, music player, FM radio, 5 megapixel camera that can also record video and pre-installed applications for Twitter and Facebook. Battery life is 17 days standby and 5 hours of talk time. Nokia X3 is expected to reach market in the third quarter of this year at a price below $200 before taxes and subsidies.
